A verruca, or a small skin lesion, is usually found on the bottom of the foot and is considered to be very similar to a corn. The major difference is that a verruca is pale in color and typically covered with black dots, which are blood vessels that feed the verruca. Verrucas can be painful and often feel as if you have a small stone attached to the bottom of the foot.
